For Cattolica the Innovation Award of Milano Finanza for Active Auto
This year as well, Milano Finanza, in cooperation with Accenture, prepared the classification of the most innovative insurance products launched in the last 12 months. In the category dedicated to cars, Cattolica Assicurazioni won the first prize with Active Auto, the solution launched by the Group last 1st May which allows the driver in difficulty to receive help in real time through an - Active Box - device which can be self-installed and is equipped with sensors capable of recognizing possible impacts. It gives the driver the possibility of notifying the operations center and requesting the intervention of a tow truck and, if needed, emergency services.
The best solutions were identified by studying over 75 applications received from the leading companies operating in the Italian market in the losses and life field, and by selecting products, services and initiatives which stood out for their ability to satisfy the needs of the customers in terms of innovation, customer service, simplicity and ease-of-use. Every application was given a mark resulting from the average of the assessment of every factor, by identifying the absolute winner, and some special sections, of every category of the award: motor vehicles, mobiles, protection of the residence, health, work, welfare, cyber security, customer contact and communication.
