The MF Insurance & Previdenza Awards 2018 ceremony was held last night in Milan. Each year, it awards companies and representatives in the insurance world who have stood out for the excellence and quality of their work. At the award ceremony, which took place during a charity dinner for the Monzino Cardiological Centre, the Cattolica Group was awarded a prestigious individual award and 6 recognitions.

The coveted “Insurance & Previdenza Elite - Insurer of the Year” prize was awarded to the Managing Director of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group, Alberto Minali, for “the motion towards change at Cattolica Assicurazioni in less than one year since its establishment, culminating in the new bancassurance agreement with Banco BPM and the entry of Warren Buffett as shareholder”.

Cattolica Assicurazioni, represented by Managing Director Alberto Minali, was awarded the “Companies of Value” prize for ranking 1st in Stock Market Performance last year.

As part of the MF Innovation award, Cattolica Assicurazioni also received a special mention in the “Home & Family” category for its Cattolica&Casa Senza Pensieri product (Cattolica&Carefree Home). In the “Open pension funds” category, Cattolica also achieved a “Triple A” for the Cattolica Gestione Previdenza product (Cattolica Welfare Management).

ABC Assicura, represented by Managing Director Davide Berveglieri, ranked 1st among the “Companies of Value” for efficiency parameters in non-life (claims/accrued premiums).

Cattolica Life Ltd, represented by the General Manager for Markets and Distribution Channels of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group, Carlo Ferraresi, was rated best among the “Companies of Value” for the efficiency ratios in life (net financial income/investments).

Lombarda Vita, represented by Managing Director Davide Berveglieri, received a “Triple A” in 2nd place in the “Unit Linked” category for the product Lombarda Vita Linea Alpha Accumulo (performance at 1 year, 2016 data).
