Professor Lai replaces Domingo Sugranyes Bickel and is co-opted into the Board as an independent and non-executive director

The Board of Directors of Cattolica Assicurazioni, which met today under the chairmanship of Paolo Bedoni, co-opted Alessandro Lai into the Board as an independent and non-executive director. Alessandro Lai replaces the resigning director Domingo Sugranyes Bickel, to whom the Board expressed sincere appreciation for the contribution given to the Company as an independent and non-executive director. Alessandro Lai is a full professor of Business Economics at the Department of Business Economics of Verona University and the author of numerous studies and publication.

Among other roles, he is a full Academic at the Italian Academy of Business Economics, ordinary Member of the Italian Association of Teachers of Accounting and Business Administration and Member of the European Accounting Association. He also serves as a Statutory Auditory at various companies and industrial corporations.
