TUA Assicurazioni’s Board of Directors, chaired by Paolo Bedoni, has today approved the appointment of Doctor Nazareno Cerni as Managing Director of the company with effect from 1 January 2019. Doctor Cerni will continue fulfilling his duties as Vice General Manager and Non-Auto Insurance Director of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group in line with the mandate originally assigned to him. He will also carry on with his role as Executive Officer of CATTRe, a reinsurance company dedicated to non-traditional lines of risk.

Paolo Bedoni, Chairman of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group, stated: “TUA’s Board of Directors has appointed Nazareno Cerni as new Chief Executive Officer. He has shown great professionalism and has already held many different roles within the company. With his guidance, TUA Assicurazioni will continue to implement the growth plan that has characterised this past year; namely, a fast and flexible structure that, thanks to its close proximity to the agent network and to the revision of the group's catalogue of products, promises to achieve even more ambitious qualitative growth objectives.
