Cattolica Assicurazioni supports TEDxVerona, the Scaliger marathon dedicated to ideas worth spreading

Twelve speakers, including marketing professionals, artists, scientists and other excellent global figures, 22 volunteers, members of the organisation team, and an audience of at least a thousand people strong gathered in the Gran Guardia. In short, these are the numbers that tell of the success of the fifth and final edition of TEDxVerona, the Scaliger branch of the American event that seeks to spread the most interesting ideas and visions of innovation applied to the world of art, science, technology and entertainment. This year, Cattolica again chose to support the event, the only one in the Italian TED sections to be split over two days: on Saturday 4th May, the spaces of the Gran Guardia were used for around twenty in-depth talks on the impact of new technologies on society, while on Sunday 5th May, the now-traditional conference was held, which saw 12 key players from the 2019 edition take turns speaking in the Auditorium.
“For our Company, it is a source of pride to again be sponsoring this fifth edition of TEDxVerona. Innovation is an enabling factor for Cattolica’s growth, as is also envisaged in our Business Plan, where innovation is one of the three cornerstones on which development is based,” said Emanuela Vecchiet, Director of Communication and Institutional Relations for Cattolica Assicurazioni. “So we did not hesitate to support the organisers once more, convinced of the fact that behind every form of development, always lies a brilliant idea that deserves support. We are sure that the speakers from the two days held in Verona have stimulated debate and the intellectual curiosity of the audience, acting as propellers to improve our future. Supporting this initiative is proof of our vocation to continue looking to the future with a view to improvement.”
