Cattolica Assicurazione - Official Partner of Fieragricola

“The climate emergency is an urgent, geopolitical issue rather than an economic one. This requires us to change our development models. It is an opportunity we cannot miss”. With these words, the Minister for Agricultural Policies, Teresa Bellanova, inaugurated on Wednesday 29 January the 114th edition of Fieragricola in Veronafiere, an international exhibition dedicated to the sector with 900 exhibitors.
This thought was also shared by the Chairman of Cattolica Assicurazioni, Paolo Bedoni. "Climate change and natural disasters affect not only farmers, but also people, countries and our communities. We all need to work towards an increasingly sustainable economy that is focused on developing people, businesses and the environment”, Bedoni said. “Cattolica is supporting the agricultural sector and businesses along this growth path, protecting businesses from risk. Our Group also relies on the expertise of the Osservatorio Agroalimentare (Food and Farming Monitoring Unit), which aims to be an element of innovation and scientific development for providing new insurance cover”.
In addition to Minister Bellanova were the Chairman of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, the Mayor of Verona, Federico Sboarina, and the Croatian Minister of Agriculture, Marija Vuckovic, who chairs the Council of European Agricultural Ministers in the first half of 2020. Cattolica Assicurazioni can be found at Fieragricola as official partner, with its own stand in Hall 9, A16-B16.
