Opening the cycle of events, on Saturday 20 October, at the Teatro Filarmonico, will be the new show by Alessandro Bergonzoni “Trascendi e Sali [Transcend and Rise]”. Massimo Recalcati will follow on 12 November offering a psychological-philosophical type reflection between Freud, Nietzsche and art; on 28 January, Gianni Canova narrates the aesthetics of anguish in Alfred Hitchcock's cinema. The event will close, on 18 February, with Vittorio Sgarbi and his theatrical lectio “A sregola d’arte [Bad practices]”, reflections on the mad genius and genial madness of sacred monsters of literature and art, from Baudelaire to van Gogh. This is the calendar of “Genius and Madness”, the last season of performances sponsored by the cultural association, Idem, of which Cattolica Assicurazioni is the main sponsor, presented on 17 October, in the Municipality of Verona with the President, Paolo Bedoni, and the Mayor of Verona, Federico Sboarina and Alcide Marchioro, Artistic Director of Idem in attendance.
