Cattolica Celebration Day 2018: The Company’s first corporate event assembled employees and agents in Rome

On 24 November, Cattolica celebrated the first Celebration Day: a corporate event never held before which involved all the employees and agents, assembled with the intent of living the values on which the identity of the Group is founded: integrity, cohesion, courage to do and learn, focus on results and meritocracy. Among the initiatives that distinguished Cattolica’s 2018 was the largest sponsorship ever initiated by the Company with the Italian Rugby Federation. From the Group’s decision to launch a joint path with Italian rugby, the manifestation of a team sport that is known for an uncommon sports ethics, for the peculiarity of a game that requires cohesion and collective participation of the players and respect for the opponent, the idea was born to devote part of the day to rediscovering a discipline that rests its foundation on the same value-driven system as Cattolica, which is rooted in the Social Doctrine of the Church. Employees and agents were involved first-hand in the new partnership underwritten by the company and, assembled in the Olympic Stadium of Rome, attended, wearing the jersey of the Italian National Rugby team, the first bearing the corporate logo, the last chapter of the three Cattolica Test Matches: the great challenge between Italrugby and New Zealand, won by the legendary All Blacks.
At the end of the match, the Cattolica men and women met at the Rome Fair, for the second part of the celebrations culminating with a performance of great artistic and cultural depth. After greetings by the hosts, Chief Executive Officer Alberto Minali and Chairman Paolo Bedoni, international acclaimed performers alternated on the great stage set up at the centre of the hall. Neri Marcorè, Claudio Amendola, Gianmarco Tognazzi, Teresa Mannino, Violante Placido, Valentina Lodovini, Elena Radonich, Fabio Troiano, Stefano Bollani, Irene Grandi and Anastasiya Petryshak each took to the stage to interpret, through their own art, the value-driven identity of Cattolica along a path composed of individual performances such as monologues, sessions of pop, lyrical and instrumental music, united by the thread of Cattolica’s own values.
