Cattolica dedicates board room at Milan office to the memory of Luigi Baraggia

Cattolica Assicurazioni has dedicated the board room at its Milan office on Via Largo Tazio Nuvolari to the memory of Novarese lawyer Luigi Baraggia, the former Director and Member of the Company’s Executive Committee and Chairman of Tua. During a ceremony attended by Chairman Paolo Bedoni and CEO Alberto Minali, the company paid homage to the professional’s wife, Antonia, and children, Alberto, Cesare and Carlo. The ceremony took place in the board room that now bears the lawyer’s name, who passed away in August. At Cattolica, Luigi Baraggia held the role of Executive Committee Member from 1986 to 2012, BOD Member between 1981 and 2017, Tua Director and Chairman from 2009 to 2018, and was Director and Chairman of ABC Assicura, Duomo Previdenza and Risparmio e Previdenza.
“This official act pays homage to someone whose generosity and passion for the public good contributed to Cattolica’s growth,” stated Chairman Paolo Bedoni on the ceremony’s sidelines, “helping it to become one of the most important insurance companies in the country. Luigi Baraggia, our lawyer, was a mainstay of the Company, a man whose profound experience helped him build solid lasting relationships with many of us. His expertise, sensitivity and above all, extraordinary moral talent, were abundantly clear from the way he conducted himself.”
