From 13 to 16 September 2018, Verona will host the 16th edition of Tocatì, the International Festival of Street Games founded by Verona’s Associazione Giochi Antichi (Association of Historical Games) in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona. For the first time Cattolica Assicurazioni will be one of its sponsor organisations. As it does year upon year, the event will bring the most beautiful squares in the city’s historic centre to life with an extensive range of traditional street games, both Italian and from overseas, allowing visitors to take part and try them out. This year’s special guest is the South of France, represented by groups of players from Occitanie, Provence, the Alps and French Riviera, New Occitanie and the Basque areas. Multiple related events are also scheduled, such as meetings and cultural talks, children’s events, musical entertainment and a selection of food and drink.
