Cattolica Assicurazioni has been given an award for the “most relevant bancassurance transaction of 2018”, in relation to the agreement signed with Banco BPM. The award was collected by the General Director of Cattolica, Carlo Ferraresi, during the Future Bancassurance Forum in Milan. The Forum is one of Italy’s most important Bancassurance events. Over the two event days, Vera Assicurazioni’s best practice was also presented. The brand was born in 2018 following the Group’s new partnership with Banco BPM.

“This recognition reflects the position the company strives to hold on the Italian market,” said Marco Passafiume Alfieri, Cattolica Bancassurance Director and Chief Executive Officer of Vera Assicurazione, Vera Previdenze and Vera Vita, when interviewed on sidelines of the prize-giving. “Which is the role of a leader with the latest solutions designed specifically for bank distributors and financial advisor networks. We were the protagonists of the transaction in 2018. Thanks to our new partnership with Banco BPM, it is the newest addition to a decade-spanning strategy in this area.”
