Cattolica among the main InsurTech names at Italy Insurance Forum 2018
A day of debate with the sector’s major figures to understand what the insurance market of the future will look like. Cattolica Assicurazioni attended the third edition of Italy Insurance Forum, an important showcase for technological innovations in the insurance sector, held at the Atahotel Expo in Milan on 11 April. The event opened with the conference “The New Insurance Experience” dedicated to changing relationships between companies and clients: “Today, insurance companies aspire to play a transversal role in the lives of individuals,” said Luigi Barcarolo, Head of Insurance Analytics and Business Architecture at Cattolica, who sat at the speakers' table. “There are few companies that are able to make contact with clients who may need protection for every aspect of their life, from their property to their car, from travel to health. Therefore, all the prerequisites exist for the creation, as Cattolica is doing, of an ecosystem that will unite different partners, perhaps vertically, with the aim of offering complete coverage managed by the insurance company.”
Paolo Masini, Head of the Group's Claims Department, also attended the Italy Insurance Forum and moderated a panel that introduced some InsurTech startups. Giuseppe Contartese, Client Manager IT Claims, was also there, presenting SEA, an innovative anti-fraud system designed by Cattolica.
