With Active Benessere, Cattolica takes first prize in the Insurance Products category at the AIFIn Awards 2022

Business Development & Marketing Director of Cattolica Assicurazioni, Carlalberto Crippa: “Active Benessere represents a strategic repositioning for Cattolica in the world of health.”

A solution, unprecedented in the insurance industry, that makes people more attentive to and aware of their health. Active Benessere took first place in the “Insurance Products” category at the Financial Innovation – Italian Awards 2022 organised by AIFIn, one of the leading independent Italian think-tanks promoting a culture of innovation in the economic and financial field. The latest edition, which took place online a few days ago, also included Carlalberto Crippa, Cattolica’s Director of Business Development & Marketing, who spoke online to collect the coveted prize, albeit in virtual mode.

"Active Benessere is a world health solution that has represented a full-fledged strategic repositioning in this sector for Cattolica," Carlalberto Crippa commented on the sidelines of the award ceremony during the digital event. "We looked at it because of a paradigm shift from traditional insurance, based on reimbursement, to insurance that puts the concepts of prevention and protection first. We turned to a different target group, spoke to 'healthy' people, that is, active people who want to take care of their own well-being by creating a health monitoring process and seeking individualised care, which they can do easily through digitally accessible services. These services are part of an entire ecosystem that we have built from the expertise and capabilities of Generali Welion, the Generali Italia service company dedicated to integrated welfare, with contributions from important stakeholders in the health system: actors of the NHS, companies of the pharmaceutical sector, innovative digital health providers."
