The Board of Directors of Cattolica Assicurazioni, which met today under the chairmanship of Paolo Bedoni, has co-opted Carlo Napoleoni as new director.

Carlo Napoleoni, living in the province of Rome, has been co-opted to replace Giulio Magagni, Deputy Vice Chairman, who resigned on July 20th, 2012 in view of the provisions pursuant to Article 36 of Italian Law 214/2011 and the related interpretative criteria jointly formulated by the Bank of Italy, CONSOB and ISVAP. Director Carlo Napoleoni, non-executive, in accordance with the opinion of the Board of Directors, has defined himself as non-independent pursuant to the Code of conduct.

Carlo Napoleoni is currently the Deputy General Manager of Iccrea Holding SpA (parent company of the Iccrea Banking Group). Within the same group he has held, over time, other roles including Head of Administration and Finance, Head of Planning and Control and Head of Planning and Budget.

Prior to these positions, after obtaining, in 1993, a degree in Business and Economics at the University “la Sapienza” in Rome, he worked at Kpmg SpA in the field of auditing, assurance services and assistance to extraordinary transactions. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of several companies and has worked as an academic at the University of Cassino and other management schools.
