Coronavirus COVID-19: measures in place at Cattolica Assicurazioni
Verona, 24 February 2020. Following the official announcements of restrictions to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Cattolica Assicurazioni would like to express solidarity with the citizens affected and subject to containment measures, and confirms its commitment to providing the best possible service to its customers, giving the necessary support to its distribution and agency network.
The Cattolica Assicurazioni Group has taken a number of precautions in relation to all employees, consultants and suppliers who have access to Group offices, in order to ensure their health and safety. All employees and contractors are asked to operate in smart working mode this week, in addition to the scheduled two days a week. This measure applies in particular to employees who live in municipalities where there are cases of infection or who have been in contact with persons who live in the affected areas, for whom a 14-day period of smart working is scheduled. Transfers between the Group’s Verona, Milan and Rome offices, and business trips within Italy and abroad, are also prohibited. Employees are also encouraged to postpone meetings, conventions and training events and, if necessary, to use remote communication methods.
