This lyrical performance has never before been held for charity. It is part of the Opera del Cuore initiative created by ANAVI Onlus with the support of the Cattolica Foundation: on the evening of 31 May the Verona Philharmonic Theatre will host Il Carillon, the first work of Veronese music lover Giuseppe Vesentini, author of the music and libretto, under the direction of the famous soprano Katia Ricciarelli. The purpose of the event, carried out in collaboration with the Women and Children's Hospital, is to raise funds for ANAVI - “Associazione Nascere e Vivere”, and, in particular, for the Together for their eyes project, which was launched to raise funds for families with blind or visually impaired children.

During the performance, which took place yesterday at the head office of the Cattolica Foundation, the Secretary General of the Foundation, Adriano Tomba, was present, along with the President of ANAVI, Mauro Ghirardi, the soprano Katia Ricciarelli, who will direct the opera, the author Giuseppe Vesentini, and the conductor Sergio Baietta, who will direct the Machievelli orchestra.
