Today, the framework of operational positions in the subsidiary companies Tua Assicurazioni and Fata Assicurazioni was nominated by the Cattolica Assicurazioni Executive Committee, so as to better implement the 2014-2017 Business Plan.

The Committee acknowledged Andrea Sabia’s resignation from the role of Director and Chief Executive Officer of Tua Assicurazioni, with effect from 30 April this year, and appointed Marco Cardinaletti, General Manager of the Group’s Insurance and Technical-Administrative Coordination Area as his replacement.

Flavio Piva, General Manager of the Markets and Operations Area, will oversee Fata Assicurazioni’s merger with Cattolica Assicurazioni and launch the national distribution company with a Cattolica majority holding, as envisaged in the agreement with the Italian Farmers’ Confederation, Coldiretti, and the Italian Agricultural Consortia, Consorzi Agrari.

As it acknowledged his resignation, the Executive Committee thanked Sabia for the commitment and professionalism he has contributed to the growth of Tua Assicurazioni over the years.
