Coach Alessandra Campedelli’s women are dominating the European Deaf Volleyball Championships in Cagliari, and are heading straight for gold. After the 3-0 victory against Russia at the last match, Italy came first in the group, winning the chance to take on fourth-place world champions Poland. The Italian women already beat Poland at the start of the competition, proving the team’s the excellent journey so far, supported by Cattolica Assicurazioni. 

The semifinal, to determine who will play in the finals, will take place on Thursday 13 June at the PalaPirastu stadium. “We believe in ourselves and we’re aiming for one of the best medals we’ve ever won,” said Alessandra Campedelli. “We’re proving ourselves: the possibilities are there because the entire team has worked so hard.”
