Chief Executive Officer of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group Alberto Minali spoke at the 6th National Congress by UILCA, the Trade Union for workers in the credit, tax collection, and insurance sectors, which took place yesterday in Milan. Presenting to a large audience, Minali highlighted the cultural transformation the Group is pursuing to the benefit of all employees, shareholders, and stakeholders, with the aim to making Cattolica a stronger, healthier company – a protagonist in the insurance sector capable of forward thinking.
 
“The responsibility,” underlined the Chief Executive Officer, “is a three-facet diamond – individual, collective, and social. Under the correct light, and with the help of our associates, they will allow the 2018-2020 Business Plan objectives to shine.” Minali then quoted the results of the mood survey that was carried out immediately after he joined the company to discover the associates' level of satisfaction and well-being. It also covered the focussed action plans the Group had undertaken in previous months to reinforce corporate welfare and associate training and development programmes, and the implementation of an extensive smart working campaign.

“Over and above this”, Minali continued, “the company is committed to reducing the complexity of work through interventions related to economic incentives when certain individual targets are reached, investments in technology, and developing talent in the Group. In this sense,” he went on, “smart factories are a source of inspiration for Cattolica when improving its working methods and organisation.”
 
“Work,” concluded the Chief Executive Officer amongst applause from onlookers, “is a coefficient of freedom in which there is great dignity. One may or may not believe, but work is the only act that brings us closer to God.”
