Verona, 18 December 2019. Today, seemingly as a consequence of the withdrawal of powers conferred to Mr. Alberto Minali, which occurred on 31 October 2019, the Supervisory Authorities Ivass and Consob have ordered a seizure of documents at the Company’s headquarters.

As is the practice, Consob has instructed the Guardia di Finanza (Italian law enforcement agency under the authority of the Minister of Economy and Finance) which carried out the seizure with full cooperation of the Company’s management team.

Cattolica Assicurazioni, as repeatedly affirmed, is fully committed and interested in cooperating with the Supervisory Authorities and reaffirms the complete regularity and transparency of the procedures adopted in relation to the resolution made on 31 October.
