Thirty-three prizes, five hundred guests and over a hundred Italian companies of the financial, industrial and services world. These are the numbers of the VI Edition of the TopLegal Corporate Counsel Awards, the event organised by the renowned specialized paper TopLegal which, yesterday evening at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio of Milan, gave Cattolica Assicurazioni the award as Legal Department of the year. The work of all the finalists was evaluated by a technical commission composed of the representatives of the top fifty Italian legal firms, who determined that the Legal and Corporate Affairs team of the Company deserved the top industry prize.

“I am convinced that each of us contributed, with the commitment of all the members of the other company departments, to achieving such an important accomplishment as inclusion among the “in house” legal departments competing for an award with national significance - commented Stefano Semolini, Director of the Corporate and Legal Affairs Department of Cattolica, who accepted the prize for all his colleagues - it is a result which makes us happy and proud of our professional growth and for the company that we represent. The team was almost entirely renewed in a single year, by largely taking advantage of the opportunities offered by an internal Job Market initiative which made it possible to bring strongly motivated people together who are focused on the values of cooperation, respect, professionalism and humility. So much work, therefore, but just as much shared satisfaction”.
