UBI Banca and Cattolica Assicurazioni announce that on 30th September they proceeded to the closing of the operation to renew their bancassurance partnership in the life insurance sector, under the terms and conditions already reported on 29th July 2010.

Cattolica Assicurazioni has therefore proceeded to purchase an additional 9,9% interest in the share capital of Lombarda Vita S.p.A. from UBI Banca, for a total sum of 118,3 million euro.
