Verona, April 28th 2017

The Board of Directors of Cattolica Assicurazioni, which met today in Verona under the chairmanship of Paolo Bedoni, has checked the independence requirements of the non-executive directors Chiara de’ Stefani and Nerino Chemello, coopted by the Board on January 17th 2017 and confirmed by the General Meeting of April 22nd 2017, qualifying them as independent both on the basis of the matters envisaged by the Code of Conduct, as adopted by the Company, and pursuant to article 147-ter, paragraph 4 and article 148, paragraph 3, of the Legislative Decree no. 58/1998.
