Chairman of Cattolica Assicurazioni.
A graduate in Economics and Commerce from the Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, he specialised in Economics at Pembroke College, Oxford University.
Currently Chairman of the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation of Venice, Deputy Chairman of Credito Fondiario S.p.A., member of the boards of directors of Webuild S.p.A. and Genextra S.p.A., he is also a member of the Council for Relations between Italy and the United States (Consiusa) and a member of the Assonime Council. Deputy General Manager of the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro from 1989 to 1990, he was then appointed CEO, a role he held until 2003.
During his career he has held various positions in the finance area of FIAT S.p.A., including Finance Director Fiat Auto and Finance Director of the FIAT Group. He has been Chairman of the La Biennale Venice Foundation, of Permasteelisa S.p.A. and of the Eurovita Holding S.p.A. insurance group. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Banco BPM S.p.A. and various companies including Fiera Milano S.p.A., Snam Rete Gas S.p.A. and Elica S.p.A. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice and has been a Senior Advisor to the private equity fund TPG Capital and to Nomura.

Prior to joining Cattolica, he was Chief Actuary at Aviva and Head of Actuarial Reporting at Allianz. He was also involved in issues relating to the implementation within the company of Solvency II and IFRS 17 processes and systems and the issue of effective communication of results. Before assuming his current position, he was appointed Head of the Group Actuarial Function in February 2019. A Member of the Order of Actuaries.

Head of Audit at Cattolica Assicurazioni since April 2021.
A qualified lawyer, he entered the insurance business in 2000 as a claims liquidator for RAS, and a few years later was appointed Head of the Anti-fraud Unit, a position he continued to hold, with additional responsibilities, after Allianz acquired the company’s insurance activities in Italy. In 2010 he was appointed Head of the Centralised Claims Area, and in 2012 Claims Fraud Manager. In 2014 he was appointed Head of Core Business Audit, and in 2017 became Head of Assurance Audit and Deputy Chief Audit Executive at Allianz S.p.A., with Audit responsibility in Core Insurance, Regulatory matters, Finance, IT and Fraud.

Since September 2022, Andrea Bonomini has been Head of the Compliance Function and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at Cattolica Assicurazioni.
After graduating in Law from the University of Bologna, and working the Bottoli Law Firm in Verona, in 1991 he joined Cattolica Assicurazioni, where he was responsible for training and administrative control of the agency network. From 1992 to 1997, he was Head of the Legal Office of the Commercial Department and, subsequently, Coordinator of the New Agencies Project, with oversight of contractual aspects, commercial plans and new agency development. Between 1996 and 2006, he was Customer Service Manager. In 2006, he was appointed Claims Manager, a position that he held until 2010, working as Project Lead on the Claims Project of Cattolica’s 2007/2010 Strategic Plan, among other duties. In 2014, he was appointed to the staff of the Director of the Legal and Corporate Affairs Department. Since January 2018, he has been in charge of the Legal Affairs Department, as the head of the Legal Affairs Service, Complaints Service, Supervisory Authority Relations Office and Judicial Authority Relations Office. Before assuming his current role, he was Head of the Complaints and Privacy Department. From 1994 to 1997 he was an Assistant at the Institute of Public Law within the Faculty of Economics and Commerce of the University of Verona.

After a stint as a university lecturer and researcher, he began working as a consultant for national and international companies and subsequently performed management and transformation roles in the field of operations management, holding positions of increasing prestige and responsibility in the banking and insurance sectors.
During his career, he has been involved in change management projects and company reorganisations, delivering sustainable transformations over time.
Before taking up his current position, he was Deputy General Manager and Chief Operations Officer of Cattolica Assicurazioni and Chairman of Cattolica Beni Immobili, Vice Chairman of TUA Assicurazioni, Chief Executive Officer of Cattolica Services S.c.p.a and Executive Vice Chairman of CattRe.

He worked for more than ten years as a business strategy consultant, achieving executive positions in international companies such as Capgemini Consulting and Accenture. He has managed business innovation and digital transformation programmes throughout his career for leading insurance and bancassurance players in Italy and abroad. Before assuming his current position, he was appointed Head of Business Development & Partnership of the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group in December 2017. Also on the Board of Directors of IMA Italia Assistance and IMA Servizi since April 2019.

Developed his career at Cattolica Assicurazioni, which he joined in October 2007, after experience at Coldiretti in the Delegation for Relations with EU Institutions in Brussels. After more than seven years at the Special Projects Office, he also worked on the investigation and assessment of transactions with related parties at Consob, in the Related Party Transactions Monitoring Unit. Head of the Group Secretariat from February 2015 to August 2017, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Before his current role, he was an officer for Extraordinary Corporate Transactions until November 2019, when he was appointed Head of Secretariat and Corporate Requirements.

Head of Communication at Cattolica Assicurazioni since June 2020, as of September 2022 he holds the position of Head of Country Communication at Generali Italia.
A professional journalist, he began his career at Il Tempo newspaper before moving on to the Adnkronos news agency. Between 1997 and 2000 he was the New York correspondent for ANSA, also contributing to Adnkronos, Sole 24 Ore, Il Tempo, Liberal and L’Espresso. In 1999, he founded NOVA - the Italian MBA Association with other students at Columbia University. He joined H3G as a business communicator in 2001, before moving to Finmeccanica’s press office, and then becoming Director of External Relations at Ansaldo STS and finally Head of International Media and Trade Press, again at Finmeccanica. Before joining Cattolica he was also Head of Media Relations at Enel, Head of the Press Office at TIM and a partner at Comin & Partners from 2015 to 2018.

Having started his career as an adjuster at a leading international insurance company, he was appointed supervisor of a damages settlement centre. He subsequently took charge of the auditing and coordination of the settlement network. He joined Generali Italia in 2018 as Head of Claims Model, Customer Service and Mass Claims, tasked with developing claims management by working on the levers of efficiency, effectiveness and the customer experience. Since the following year, he has been responsible for the Claims Structure, taking on a major transformation plan capable of improving effectiveness and efficiency by combining a data-driven approach with services strongly orientated towards caring for customers.

Head of the Bancassurance Department and Life Technical Area since December 2020, with responsibility for the Life and Pensions Technical Area and the Bancassurance and Direct Business Unit. After a period as a management consultant, he became Business and Product Development Manager at Pioneer Investments, where he was responsible for launching new asset management products and services for the Italian market. He then joined Banca Intesa as Head of the Asset Management and Bancassurance offer, before moving to Banco Popolare as Head of Retail Marketing. He joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2007, first as Head of Retail Marketing for the Individuals Segment and then as Head of Sales for Italy at BNP Paribas Cardif. Between October 2014 and December 2017, he was Deputy CEO of UBI Pramerica SGR. Before assuming his current position, he was appointed Head of Bancassurance Business at the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group in December 2017. He is also Chief Executive Officer of the companies Vera Vita, Vera Assicurazioni, Vera Protezione, BCC Vita and BCC Assicurazioni.

He began his career as an insurance agent before becoming a General Agent of Winterthur Assicurazioni and Chairman of the Agency Company Advenia. Since 2008, he has been an advisor at the Religious Entities and Non-Profit Business Unit of Cattolica Assicurazioni, of which he became Head in 2015. In July 2019, he began his experience as an executive at BAP Spa, a Life company of the UBI Banca Group, before being appointed General Manager of UBI Sicura Spa, an Agency Company of the UBI Group, a few months later.

Since September 2022, Barbara Cecchinato has been Head of the Anti-Financial Crime Unit, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, FATCA and Responsible Officer and International Sanctions Officer at Cattolica Assicurazioni.
After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Verona, she joined Cattolica Assicurazioni in 1997 as a Member Service Assistant and later became a General Management Assistant. From 2000 to 2007, she was an Assistant at the Corporate Affairs Office and from 2007 to 2010 she was Head of the Corporate Affairs Office, where she helped to ensure the compliance of the Company’s activities, particularly with regard to the functioning of the corporate bodies. Between 2010 and 2016, she was Head of the Corporate Secretariat of Cattolica, with responsibility for planning, organising and overseeing all activities related to meetings of the Boards of Directors of subsidiaries and internal Board Committees. In 2016, she became the Head of the Anti-Money Laundering Function and, in 2020, Head of AML Control and Reporting. From 2007 to 2016, she was Board Secretary of Cattolica's subsidiaries.

He began his career as Junior Actuarial Consultant at Milliman before joining Ernst & Young as Senior Actuarial Consultant, where he developed technical skills in the fields of Solvency II, MCEV analysis, financial and actuarial modelling, technical provisioning and KID metrics. He has been Subject Expert in Actuarial Life Insurance at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and he is a Member of the Order of Actuaries.

Since March 2020, Head of IT at Cattolica Assicurazioni.
An honours graduate in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Marco Franzi has developed a deep understanding of information systems as well as operating and business processes, particularly in the banking and insurance sectors. In the early part of his career, he held consultancy positions at Accenture and McKinsey & Company, participating in numerous industrial and commercial planning projects and the implementation of complex change and reorganisation plans in insurance, banking and ICT service companies. He subsequently worked at Ge.Si., a company that managers the ICT of the Allianz Group in Italy, as Director of Application Systems Development. After a brief stint as General Manager of Bee Insurance, he was appointed CIO & Organization Director of the Sara Assicurazioni Group, a position he held from 2010 to 2017. Before taking up his current position, he was COO of Amissima Asset Management & Insurance Solutions Group with direct responsibility for ICT, Organisation and other operational functions.

Head of Distribution of Cattolica Assicurazioni with responsibility for the agency network.
He began his career in the Generali Group sales network and, while still very young, gained management experience at leading insurance companies, holding increasingly responsible roles and moving up through all levels of the sales network. He worked for AXA Assicurazioni as a Department Director and a Sales Director, successfully focusing on building networks in both the Life and Non-Life businesses. He then joined Allianz as a sales manager, taking part in the innovative process of digitising the sales channel, first as the head of the Subalpina network and then of RAS, and helping to integrate the German company’s networks, of which he was subsequently appointed manager. During his career, he has worked on projects related to digital and modular insurance products. He joined Cattolica Assicurazioni in 2015 as Distribution and Marketing Director, before being appointed Deputy General Manager and Sales Director. He has previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cattolica Previdenza and Servizi Consulenziali and as a Director of TUA Assicurazioni. He is currently a General Advisor to the ANIA-Consumatori Forum and member of the Distribution Commission.

Since September 2022, Francesco Donatelli has been Head of Operations at Cattolica Assicurazioni, the area to which the Business Operations, Procurement, Demand & Project Management, Facility Management, and Complaints and Privacy organisational units report for Cattolica and its subsidiaries.
A graduate in Economics from University of Rome La Sapienza, during his career he has increasingly important positions serving leading national and international financial companies. After an initial experience at PWC, he worked for a long time at the Capitalia Group, first as part of the staff of the Chief Executive Officer and then as Head of Finance and Control, first of Bipop Carire and later of Banco di Sicilia. He then joined UniCredit, where he spent ten years, initially working in planning and control and cost optimisation at the group level, before being appointed Group Chief Procurement Officer and then Group Supply Chain Head.
Before joining Cattolica as Head of Procurement and Project Governance, he became a Senior Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), again in the context of cost and procurement optimisation.
During his career, he has also held board positions at several UniCredit Group companies and subsidiaries of Cattolica. He is currently Chairman of Cattolica Agricola and Cattolica Services, and also director of Cattolica Immobiliare.

Head of the Motor, Non-Motor and Reinsurance business unit at Cattolica Assicurazioni since Semptember 2022. Since October of the same year, he has been Chief Executive Officer of TUA Assicurazioni. During his more than 40 years working for leading national and international companies, he has gained extensive experience in the insurance industry, becoming Head of P&C Retail at Generali Italia. He began his career in 1981 in claims settlement, becoming Chief Insurance Officer of Multiass Assicurazioni in 1987. In 1998, he became Director of Claims at Uni One Assicurazioni, in addition to which, in 2001, he was assigned the task of transferring the claims settlement activities of the two companies to Generali. Within the Group he held positions of increasing seniority and responsibility: in 2005, he became Non-Life Industrial Deputy Director of the department for Italy, in 2008 he became Manager of the General Agencies of Rome and Naples, in 2009 he was appointed Area Manager Centre North East and in 2011 he became Head of P&C Retail and Middle Market for Italy. Before assuming this role, he was appointed Head of Non-Motor Non-Life Retail and Site Manager at the Rome hub, with responsibility for the project to incorporate the Non-Motor Non-Life portfolios of INA, Toro, Lloyd Italico and Augusta into Generali Italia.

A graduated in Psychology from the University of Palermo, Marco Taurino holds an Executive Master’s in Strategic Human Resource Management and a Master’s in Banking from SDA Bocconi School of Management.
He began his career at the UniCredit Group and then at the Banca Italease Group dealing with industrial relation, reorganizations and internal regulations. His career continued at Banco Popolare as HR Manager of the international division, before being appointed Senior HR Manager for Southern Italy. He later became Head of Human Resources at Banca Akros, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. In November 2018, he took up the position of Head of Business Partners & People at Cattolica Assicurazioni where, since March 2020, he has been Head of Human Resources, with responsibility for the People Management, Academy & People Development, HR Operations and Industrial Relations and Labour Policies areas.
