Rating

In 2005 Standard & Poor's, one of the most authoritative rating companies at international level, started a rating coverage of Cattolica. AM Best started its rating coverage in December 2021.

The rating is assigned after a thorough and punctual assessment process that involves an in-depth analysis of the annual and multi-year results, taking also into account the situation of the insurance market and of the main competitors.

An annual meeting between the rating companies and the top management is organised in order to comment and explain the results achieved and illustrate the short and medium term goals and strategies. At the end of this process, an opinion is released, based mainly on the financial solidity, both in a present and in a future perspective, taking into account its market positioning and its management performance.
